A custom Wordpress build, which covered a company rebrand, and integrated existing Shopify Products and Salesforce contact forms. Delivered in just four months – a modern, accessible and future-fit website, designed to grow with the company.

The brief was to rebuild New Image website with their new branding, and improve functionality of their online shop. My favourite challenge was building a bespoke tile calculator which integrated with Woocommerce products.

A brand new website with an engaging, impactful design to appeal to a younger and more diverse audience – while keeping the carbon impact of the website as low as possible. I was the lead developer on this project for Wholegrain Digital.

Working with a total budget of 2-3 days, I both designed and built an accessible, performant Wordpress site with a custom block theme. It also required integrating multiple web forms with Digital Doctor’s email marketing platform.

A complete site rebuild in Wordpress – using content exported from their legacy CMS. Custom post types and functionality were mapped, and design was subtly improved to meet accessiblity requirements.

This was a large collaboration between Mama Cash and Wholegrain over almost two years. I was headhunted as the only female developer to take the technical lead. Their new website needed the ability to translate content into 5 languages with granular control, and integration with their external donation platform.

Here I designed the architecture in Wordpress to support multi-clinic locations and a team of practitioners – so that team members can be filtered by the locations where they work.

A site I designed and built within a 3-day budget. The design was based on the client’s brand assets and guided by “mood board” sites that they liked.

I designed and built this football club website in less than a day – based on nothing more than their logo and content. (Awaiting launch)

A brand refresh for a local agency wishing to modernise. The focus was on simple, streamlined design and optimal performance.

An online Tourist Information Centre – Discover Dorchester was built during the height of the Covid pandemic and played an important role helping the town try and bounce back from the effects of lockdown. Featuring an extensive directory of attractions and amenities that can be searched and saved as ‘Favourites’.

This project was an exercise in data structure and design. It required exporting and importing thousands of businesses and their associated reviews from the old CMS while retaining data integrity.

A simple but effective new website for The Nutrition Vet, which has consistently climbed up Google rankings since launch. It achieves a carbon rating of A – for efficiency and green hosting.

While at Wholegrain Digital I was responsible for maintaining and updating the Wordpress websites for a number of key clients – including the international multisite for Ecover.

Among many ongoing improvements for this classic Wordpress site – I created this Selector Tool which dynamically filters different types of heating systems. It helps customers understand which could be suitable for their home improvement projects.

A staged migration of a large multisite to new hosting – undertaken while working for Wholegrain Digital. Acturis were also one of my ongoing Wordpress maintenance clients.

An e-commerce website which stays in sync with the stock levels in Dorset Wine’s physical shop. The extensive selection of wines can be filtered by the visitor’s preference, and delivery cost is calculated based on postcode.

Developed while working for Key Digital Agency – I built this Wordpress website which integrates with the campsite booking system. It also features a custom “things to do” map which can be searched and filtered.

A bespoke PHP build for the photographs of Jeremy Early – Surrey Wildlife photographer.

Bespoke PHP website for Great Britain Elite Triathlete Louise Fox. The site features a custom admin area for managing blogs – with file upload and drag-drop reordering of elements – before Wordpress or any pre-built templates were available.

I took over this build from the previous developer in order to fulfil the design requirements which hadn’t been met. The brief was to build two complimentary websites – a brochure site with full product details and case studies, and an online shop for product sales.

This project demonstrates how much I can achieve on a shoestring budget! Replacing a 15-year-old broken Wordpress theme with a modern block theme. Retaining but refreshing the existing brand.

A freelance project for Egret Digital, with limited budget of 1-2 days development time for the complete site build.
